Here at Smart Recovery and wellness we love running specially designed events, some of the previous events we have held and will continue to run yearly or monthly include:
-Workshops to educate about nutrition & health ie; Gut health talks, hormone health talks and the list growing. These events are ran at least once a month at our premises or online.
-Indulgence Days are all about pampering and indulging in some real TLC with a loved one. You'll get a real sense of what we have on offer here at SR&W, learn a new skill and enjoy delicious healthy food. These events are ran about 3 times per year
-Woman's Empowerment Program was purely designed to help encourage women to connect with other women, and to feel safe to open up and learn more about themselves. All while being reminded that you're not alone and it is of great benefit to your health to remember to take some time out for self care. These events will run 2-3 times per year.
-Movement classes are ran on our grounded mats up stairs and incorporate pilates, yoga and stretching. Earthing or grounding, makes use of free electrons from the Earth to re-balance your body, stabilise it's bio-electrical system and fight free radicals. Published research on Earthing indicates that a broad array of favorable health-related results including:
- Better sleep
- Reduction of inflammation and pain
- Improved blood flow
- Normalizing effect on the stress hormone cortisol
- Calming effects on the nervous system
-Mindfullness Salt Therapy Meditation is ran in our group salt rooms at various times throughout the year.
